Concerts for the Cause brings back local favorite Jonathan Fleig with Life Tribe
In simplest terms Jonathan Fleig is a musician. For the past decade, this singer/songwriter has traveled the country in service of the song. From North Carolina to California, Oregon to Arizona, he has entertained audiences big and small and people are starting to notice.
In addition to playing live Jonathan throughly enjoys every opporutnity to work in the studio and has self-produced four studio albums. His 2010 release, “The Great Awakening” with the band Soup, recieved widespread college radio airplay. It was nominated by the 21st Los Angeles Music Awards in two categories — Americana Artist of the Year and Best Americana single for the song “Enemy.”
In late 2012, Jonathan released his newest album “Strange Caravan” and has been touring ever since. With hundreds of shows spanning 16 states the term troubador definitely applies. Some of his favorite acts to share the stage with are The Stereofidelics (NC), Jackson Taylor and the Sinners (KS), Brian Martin (AR), The Southerniers (LA) and Heal the Last Stand (UK) to name a few.
Throughout the years Jonathan has worked with various bands and musicians and in 2013 was joined by–The Flint Hills. Named for their geographical home base and earthy sound the Flint Hills are comprised of Ben Russell (drums) and Colin Jones (bass, vox).
